Boeing Co announced the company would redesign the software in electrical systems and power panel on the 787 Dreamliners, after a fire during flight two weeks ago. The fire automatically postpone the scheduled flight test. During the flight test delay for some time, the company expects all work completed within the next few weeks the new schedule for certification of aircraft and shipping to the buyer, according to Boeing in an official statement. An aluminum material causing a short circuit in the power panel on 9 November last flight, generate sparks, according to three people who know the detailed story and did not want his name disclosed because the information was not time released. Boeing said the investigation concluded that the fire was likely caused by the presence of foreign object debris, causing a short circuit. "Changing the design of a minor" will be conducted on the Dreamliner power panels to ensure that the debris material can not enter. Changing that, said Boeing, performed in conjunction with software update electrical systems to improve power distribution.  Boeing 787 is the first type of aircraft that use composite plastic material with electrical system for the entire system.

The jet had been back almost three years from the original schedule after a six delays, when Boeing should be struggling with new material, spare parts supply shortage, job redesign and the greater trust from the suppliers.  The plane was flying from December 2009 through a number of testing by certified passenger services targeted Boeing acquired in the first quarter of 2011.
