When possible, choose the first; Reading PDFs on an iPhone or iPod is not pleasant because you are watching, well, not PDF files, e-book formats. You can not adjust the font size or much of anything else. ePub afford another, much better reading experience. Alas, size notwithstanding, the book you want to not be available for cash. As for the print editions in a real library, there are a limited number of licenses to go around. (Similarly, most of the books "expire" after three weeks, meaning that they become illegible if you do not check again. I was able to put a close on popular titles like "The Girl who Played with the dragon" and "Help", but without knowing when they would become available.
Before you can read any book downloaded, you must install Adobe Digital Editions (available free for Windows and Mac OS). With this step done, you can download the book from the library – which is to open at least once in Digital Editions before you can transfer to Bluefire Reader.
