Futuremark PCMark 7 for Windows 7 released
Terms of noted graphic card that supports DX9 as a minimum, but DX10 and DX11 is required for some additional tests (ie tests that are not part of the main PCMark score). There are seven test suites with 20 different workloads designed to provide different views of system performance. Seventh PCMark testing suites, Light, Entertainment, Creativity, Productivity, Computing, and Storage. Suite Light is one that is really a newcomer, and Computation can draw if there is any support for GPGPU workload type, the other suites tend to be correlated with one or more of the suites at Vantage (Memories, TV and Film, Music, Communication, productivity , and HDD). The new PCMark been improved to measure the performance of SSDs, netbook and tablet better and accurate. Although we do not have a release date or price PCMark 7, Futuremark has now confirmed their intent to update the product, and it’s not PCMark 11 but even so the PCMark 7.This release is not planned in the near future, which means longer than a month.
