Rumor: 10 Inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Being Announced Sunday
Another rumor for us to throw into the journal: Samsung’s looking to throw a 10 inch version of their Samsung Galaxy Tab – being called the Tab 2 – at us this Sunday at Mobile World Congress. This information was given to Pocket-Lint.
A 10 inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab has long been rumored, but Samsung wasn’t keen on saying when and where. Those earlier rumors pegged the device for a February or March release, so the timing of this new information does a great deal in strengthening that.
Samsung was once believed to be using NVIDIA’s dual-core Tegra 2 chipset for the next iteration of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. This is due to beliefs that the Orion processor wasn’t finished in time for production. We hear that problem has been settled for one Samsung Galaxy S2, though. Stay tuned to Phandroid.com as we’ll be bringing live coverage of everything to come out of Mobile World Congress.
